SAFFRON SURGE IN BENGAL?
Elections in India is always a matter of interest because politics is well connected to every Indian. we call it democracy, a festival of joy and values.
The framework of Indian politics has changed since Narendra modi came into power in 2014. Pradeep Bhandari, an editor in Jan ki Baat, said "the elections have now become personality affiliated". Modi's image of a strongman isn't a myth, he proved it several times whether it's external or internal policy. The same wave of modi was waiting in Bengal and it could be observed in the campaign. The huge crowd is the backbone of the BJP surge in Bengal. Though the 2019 Lok sabha elections have told us everything about the surge and it is still more satisfying to capture a glance at saffronizing Bengal.
WHAT's WORKING FOR BJP?
Modi indeed a factor but there is more to evaluate and it's all related to either Modi as an individual or BJP as a whole. We all have to believe that we have very strong leadership at the centre. Modi is an immeasurable orator hence the reason for the tremendous crowds on the grounds of Bengal. He seldom talks about his policies and he did in Bengal. He exposed Mamta for not transferring amounts to farmers and she didn't do that for her political aspirations. Hackling the centre's executions of policies isn't new in politics to keep the TMC safe. Exposing Mamta's picture is downgrading her chances to get in power and Mamta isn't liking it at all and claiming illogical facts against BJP.
BJP successfully kills the snake every time they talk about "Nepotism". They did the same with congress and now with Mamata's TMC. They have all rights to say it because not even a single person has made it to the top brass in BJP. They have now applied it to Abhishek Banerjee and his wife, who was questioned in a coal scam by CBI. so the Abhishek, wife and scam is all shoot of nepotism. BJP trying to kill all of it with one shot. People do take such things in cognisance because of BJP's impartiality towards their workers.
The demographic change by Mamata and riots by TMC either political or non-political has increased. 135 workers of BJP was killed. The border security force (BSF) has apprehended around 4500 infiltrators in the last four years from 2016 to 2019 on the indo-Bangladesh border and handed them to state administration for further action and no action was taken. BJP has promised to implement NRC-CAA after coming to power which could eliminate all illegal infiltrator from the state and could be a big relief to people in Bengal though Mamata has opposed the act.
Mamata is exposing herself time and again. Nation, nationalism and consolidation is a priority for BJP. A recent insult against the "Jai Shri ram" slogan by Mamta has downgraded her picture and BJP called it an insult to Hindus which is a fact and reality. Another instance by Mamta when she said "Muslims should vote for TMC".I am imagining about Modi called it all instead of Mamata. I swear it could have been great TRP for India today, ndtv. Newspapers might full of modi as "divider in chief", fascists, undemocratic and what not. But, this could have been selective outrage by leftist media against modi and we are seeing nothing against Mamata. She has exposed herself a lot and people have understood her intention.
WIN OR LOSS FOR BJP?
There's always huge potential by any party they put in on ground level. when it is about calculation for BJP things always comes to Amit shah. He calculated 20 seats in Lok sabha for Bengal and they won 18, 80 per cent accuracy isn't bad. he calculated more than 2000 now and let's see the result if it comes out to be true or flawed. BJP has a history of taking elections locals very serious and that's assembly elections. They have already injected so much power which jolted TMC already. Mamata latter to all opposition is called mahagathbandhan 2.0. Now, the election commission becomes a BJP institution, democracy in Bengal become undemocratic, the same police which Mamta controls has now become BJP. Amit Shah in a statement said, "people say it all because they know they are losing".
Bjp will win at least 160-180seats
ReplyDeleteI feel BJP should find some method, by which Sri Modiji is not much involved in Election Canvas , which is very frequently happening, as his image being affected.
ReplyDeleteAlternatively, elections should be held simultaneously for both Loksabha and state assembly, which will save both politically and financially.
