MODI, MAMTA AND WEST BENGAL
West Bengal is the most talked about the state since we approached in 2021. elections in India is a kind of festivals that everyone glorifies and celebrate. if we look at the historical perspective, Bengal was one state which contained 60% of India s GDP. most decorated philosophers, authors, poets born in the soil of Bengal whether it Rabindranath Tagore, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar or raja ram Mohan Roy who was called "Father of the Bengal Renaissance". but do we have the same Bengal now in 2021?
CALCULATING MAMTA
the best to the worst of Indian state from the largest GSDP to 33% of GSDP pubic debt. heated elections conveying people about Bengal's nature throughout under Mamta Banerjee. talking about the economy, According to data from the ministry of statistics and programme implementation, the state’s average growth of gross state domestic product or GSDP, the most common measure of income at the state level, between 2012-13 and 2017-18 — which coincide, partly, with years of Mamata Banerjee’s first and second term — was around 5.5%, lower than the national average of 7.1% during this period. agriculture has been a discussed topic since the protest in Delhi took place against central farm laws. though, the outcome is far sufficient to empower small farmers. despite knowing its facts and objective Mamta impelled ahead to pass a resolution against it by saying "the acts are against farmers" but the pious Mamta won't tell you that she didn't implement a central scheme called "PM Kisan Yojana" which distribute 6000 per yeato farmers. Narendra modi said; "destroying" the state and depriving its over 70 lakh farmers of benefits from the centre's flagship PM-KISHAN scheme under which 6000 per year is given to each farmer". he recently released 18000 crores for the farmer where Bengal has zero beneficiaries. he went ahead to criticise Mamta for her illogical oppose of laws and said "parties which are APMC mandis nowadays, but repeatedly forget that there are no AMPC mandis in Kerala. and these never agitate in Kerala."
ANTI MODI NARRATIVE
modi's synopsis as a chief divider in Indian politics has now diminished by himself. he was accused of being chief of gujurat riots 2002, anti-Muslim, Dalit and tribal. he was portrayed as a pro-rich and upper-caste king. I was like you, the victim of this narrative and I would have remained so if modi wouldn't have elected to power in 2014. Not even a single communal riots under Narendra modi in any region of India. this destructed the whole myth of anti-India force and this led modi to win 2nd term because of his stern decisions and personality. on the other side, Mamta has ignited more riots dholagarh riots 2016, baduria riots 2017, Asansol violence, IED bomb blasts have jolted West Bengal many times but the hypocritic media won't tell you this because of its leaning towards left ideology.
REACHING TO THE BATTLEGROUND OF BENGAL
The ground under fire since BJP won 18 seats in Lok Sabha in 2019. This boosted modi-shah confidence to grab the ground and saffronize it. BJP never leave a stone unturned to win a certain election call it local to the national level. This could be seen in the historical journey of BJP in India having only 3 seats in Lok sabha to more than 350 seats in 2021. 2019 election was an outstanding mandate to BJP. Bengal has lost its civilisational framework through time because of the absence of any nationalistic approach there and the BJP brought it in 2019. BJP approach of putting the nation first and ignite it with nationalism liked by the people of India. Striking Pakistan two times and taking precaution at every step on national security. Building ram temple, abrogating 370 has accumulated Hindus. This assures people of any state to redraw the lines of faith, belief with BJP. They are trusting Modi's mandate and this taking waves of development in different states and now, it's Bengal. People of Bengal has now done away with vandalism of temples, communal violence, banned Hindu festivals, arrest Hindus during celebrations. They now see Modi's as a ray of hope to recelebrate on Bengal's soil and welcome Mamta with "Jai shri ram" which she insulted on the national programme.
CLOSE BATTLE IN NANDIGRAM
Mamta Banerjee has now seems to be under pressure. This started when TMC MLA's left the party and joined BJP and she had to feel it when suvendhu Adhikari left her. He is the most celebrated politician in Bengal having 69% of the vote share against his opposition in the constituency of Nandigram. Her fumbled behaviour could be seen when she got herself nominated from two constituencies. Nandigram has now become a battle of prestige and integrity between two politicians. suvendu seems much ahead of Mamta because of her popularity there. even if he lost his 15% vote share in Nandigram he would still win it. this rigorous battle is interesting to watch.
BJP, HINDUS AND WEST BENGAL
The recent inauguration of the haj house in Bengal which costs 100 crores by Mamta and no actions on vandalism of the temple has pushed people of Bengal more into BJP. BJP has accused didi of a playing appeasement politics and not moving ahead with Modi's way of "sabka sath, sabka Vikas, sabka vishvas". Illegal immigration into Bengal from Bangladesh and serve them with legal documents from the Mamta side has been creating the demographic change. she has the intention of making it an Islamic state. It is same as Kashmir. The same thing happening in Delhi. There are over 40,000 Rohingya illegal immigrant in India and subjecting India to an anti-India framework. This led BJP to pass CAA- NRC and they have clearly announced that "we will implement it as soon as we elected to Bengal". This could prove healthy to Hindus and best as a national policy. we have been looking at BJP as not taking a single risk on national security which is gathering all of us in favour of them.
